Invented by Adele
In 2014, five-year-old Adele came home from preschool sad that she couldn't see her stuffed animals (Lovies) at nap time in her backpack.
Her dad asked her "What are you going to do about that?"
Together, Adele and her dad worked on a simple early prototype before hiring a local seamstress for the next two versions.
Soon, Adele was ready to start sharing the Lovie Window with more kids...but how?
Supported by the Community
In 2019, Adele and her family launched a Kickstarter to raise money to fund an initial run of the backpacks. After being featured on Denver's 9News and with support from friends and family, the Kickstarter was a success!
